This position will provide technical support services to multiple College of Sciences undergraduate laboratory courses located in both the Boggs building and Clough Undergraduate Learning Commons. These services will include the setup/configuration, calibration, operation, troubleshooting, maintenance and cleaning of a wide range of laboratory equipment, which may include chromatographs, spectrometers, lasers, electronics associated with data acquisition, oscilloscopes, microscopes, cameras, and other instruments as needed.
The Administrative Manager II will oversee and coordinate administrative operations within the School of Biological Sciences. Primary areas of responsibility include administrative affairs associated with human resources, immigration, management of people resources, and coordination of general support of the goals of the Chair. This position is responsible for assessing and continuously monitoring and measuring employee performance, setting employee goals, providing employee feedback, maintaining equity, making pay recommendations and compliance reporting.
