About Me:

After graduating from Georgia Tech, I attended graduate school at Nova Southeastern University, where I received my physician assistant degree. I recently started working at a primary care office in the metro-Atlanta area, and I really love my job and working as a PA. As a newly graduated physician assistant, I am continuing to learn so much, but I also feel well-prepared by my graduate program (and, of course, Georgia Tech). After finishing up fifteen consecutive semesters of school, I did take some time off and traveled through Europe and Asia, and more recently, my hobby has been raising a vegetable garden and egg-laying chickens.

My biology degree from Georgia Tech proved to be extremely valuable throughout PA school. Georgia Tech taught me how to truly learn class material rather than memorize information so that my graduate classes were much easier for me. Even now, the way Georgia Tech taught me to think continues to positively impact how I solve patient problems.

My Advice:

Take the fullest advantage of your Georgia Tech education because it will truly help you become a great learner. Attend your lecture classes, go to recitation and office hours, ask questions. Forming a bond with my undergraduate professors and trying to learn as much as I can from them has turned out to be one of the best things I did in undergrad. I loved being a Biology major at Georgia Tech. I loved my classes and everything I got to learn, and I loved my professors not just from the biology department but also from my required chemistry and physics classes. I think GT has some of the best equipped professors in the world and my education there was so worth it. I also believe students who graduate from the GT biology department are the most knowledgeable in the field compared to students of other universities.
