
Visiting students from around the U.S. attended NSF REU programs at all six College schools this summer, researching in Georgia Tech’s state-of-the-art labs, learning from student and faculty mentors, and expanding their networks.

For the second consecutive year, a Georgia Tech student and their advisor have been awarded a Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) Gilliam Fellowship for Advanced Study.

Jennifer Curtis, professor in the School of Physics, will serve as ADVANCE Professor for the College of Sciences, effective July 1, 2023. Curtis will continue efforts to support the community and advancement of women and minorities in academia.
