Open-Rank Tenure-Track Positions in Quantitative Biosciences

The School of Biological Sciences at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in quantitative biosciences. Applicants will be considered at all ranks. The position is open to research programs focused on both macro- and microscopic natural communities. We are particularly interested in applicants exploring theoretical and experimental aspects of microbial ecology, host-microbe interactions, or interactions in marine, aquatic, or terrestrial systems that emphasize understanding the processes and mechanisms impacting community organization or ecosystem function. Candidates will be favored if their research enhances the department's existing strengths in microbial dynamics, ecology, and evolutionary biology. Successful candidates will likely engage with the interdisciplinary QBios Graduate Program. Candidates are expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the teaching and mentoring of students.
