Overview:
Daniel Lauer is a graduate doctoral candidate in the Quantitative Biosciences Ph.D. program. He graduated in December of 2017 from the University of Maryland, College Park, where he majored in Environmental Science and Policy. Currently, he is a graduate research assistant in the Spatial Ecology and Paleontology lab, run by Professor Jenny McGuire. His thesis focuses on exploring biodiversity and ecosystem stability dynamics in African mammal communities across broad spatial and temporal scales.
