Research Interests:
I am interested in the characterization of the development of long-lived plasma cells in the bone marrow.
Overview:
My research involves the characterization of long-lived plasma cells (LLPC) through the integration of cell-type specific transcriptomic and epigenetic data, as well as LLPC bone marrow niche proteomic data from healthy control patients. The long-term goal of this project is to gain a more holistic understanding of the processes that are involved in the development and differentiation of B-cells into long-lived plasma cells in healthy in contrast with unhealthy patients.
