After Georgia Tech, I worked for two years in an HIV lab at the Yerkes National Primate Research Center, got a Masters of Science in Biomedical Sciences at GA-PCOM, and I will be attending medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Georgia Tech was essential in preparing me for graduate and medical school. The rigor is reflective of the intense work load that I experienced in graduate school, and the time management skills I learned will be critical to getting me through medical scohol.
Do not be daunted by the rigor of Georgia Tech. This is a world-class institution with a recognizable name anywhere you go, and the alumni network is MASSIVE. I can't go anywhere without having a conversation about my Tech alumna status! The program, though difficult, is equipped to help you succeed, and great advisers are there to help shape your experience to help you toward your goals.
